From the beginning, when Sean Kelly and Jeff Klusman decided to shed their suits and start on a new adventure with family and friends, Planet Sub has always felt like a break from the hustle and bustle of the corporate cookie cutter lifestyle we have all become so accustomed to.

Where We’ve Been

Sean and Jeff opened their first Planet Sub franchise in 1998 and shared with their hometown a sandwich that has since become a Kansas City tradition. Planet Sub has proven their commitment to quality over the years by continuing to make their bread from scratch in each and every location, letting the Planet Sub family participate in being part of the homemade process.Making bread from scratch at each location has allowed our employees to see Planet Sub’s commitment to quality first hand and helped them understand what Planet Sub is all about.

Now, 13 years later with 22 corporate locations and 12 franchises, Sean and Jeff are still as passionate about Planet Sub as ever, and are ready to share their authentic homemade creation with the rest of the world! Armed with years of experience and a successful business model, Planet Sub is looking for some partners that will share in the vision. We are looking for positive individuals who will dedicate 100% of their time to their PLANET SUB business.
